Burgers And Lobsters

Practically every Singaporean that I know of  has been to Burger and Lobster. The menu is very simple. You can have a choice of a lobster roll, a lobster or a burger all for the price of 20 pounds. It obviously took off and from just 2 branches that I know of at Soho and Mayfair, they have opened 2 more at Farringdon and the City. A word of advice is that quite a number of the branches don't do reservations and the queues can get pretty crazy, so either go in a big group which allows reservation (and make sure that EVERYONE turns up if not they won't let you in) or go at the opening times or a weird time like 3.30pm just to have dinner. I like it, but I don't love it. It is good value, but I don't particularly like lobsters so I always just get the burger. It just appears that my friends seem to like it ALOT, including poor CC who was stuck in Manchester and did not have any access to such food. The 3 of us, CC, G and I, being eager beavers, met and waited outside the restaurant in Soho at 1145am just to get one of the first few tables. No surprises for the other clientele that was there - pretty much all Asian people who needed their fix of lobster. Interestingly, it was also Gay Pride Day and having never been to any Pride parade before, I was really excited and obviously took a lot of pictures of the rainbows once we were done with lunch. This also goes to show how late this post is because Gay Pride was 2 months ago.

We all had our Iphones out to take the food shots.
Including G, who must hate me for this takglam photo.
How can you do a Saturday lunch without cocktails?
Had to include a shot of my burger.
 The bibs went on.
 Let the feasting begin.
Had a lovely stroll outside and saw bits of the pride parade!
