QUICK JAPANESE LUNCH

Sometimes, you just have one of those days where you are in a rush but you are incredibly hungry and you just need a quick bite. Actually, that happens everyday in Medicine. It just doesn't happen that often when you aren't working in London. Unfortunately, we had one of those days where we only had 30 minutes to grab lunch and catch the train. Out of all the choices at Victoria Station, we picked Wasabi. It is a Japanese chain which does decent enough sushi. My advice is to always buy from a branch with a high turnover like the one at Victoria or Oxford Street. The reason is because they replenish the sushi every 15-20 minutes because it keeps getting sold. If you go one that is pretty empty, chances are that you will end up eating stale sushi. I had the edamame and seaweed salad and salmon sushi. This is not going to be top of the line Japanese food, but it was fresh and tasty and cheap. ZY had a curry rice which he seemed to enjoy a lot. It is a good place to go if you just want something cheap and nice. They have recently started a massive expansion, so it will be quite easy to find if you are in London.
