One of the best coffees in London can be found at Tap Coffee. It used to be called Tapped and Packed, so I am not too sure why the name changed. This is a coffee lover paradise! They have everything you want, be it espresso based drinks, brewed coffees in drip cones. The beans are from the usual suspects that supply the good London coffee joints: Square Mile. The decor is typical of how all the new cool coffee joints are decorated: menu written on mirrors, dark wood and quirky accessories in the form of treacle cans housing sugar. The large quirky bicycle outside completed the look.
As you know, I am not a coffee connosieur so I stuck with my usual order of a Flat White. It appears that there seems to be quite a bit of contention as to what a Flat White is and that's probably why it tastes different everywhere you go. I am not about to go into why I like it because I simply lack the knowledge and the vocabulary to describe coffee. ZY tucked into his coconut chocolate sea salt cupcake with relish.
We went to the branch along Tottenham Court, but there are other branches around.
