One of the things that I crave on a regular basis in Mexican food. Unfortunately, it is not easily available in Singapore. Lucky for me, it is actually rather popular in London and there are quite a few places to choose from. One of my favourites is La Bodega Negra, the London outpost of the NYC-based La Esquina, an ultra-trendy downtown café-taqueria. The downside is that is that it is not open in the day, but they recently opened a little cafe that serves similar food. We hopped on down to Cafe La Bodega Negra in Soho with Etienne for lunch on afternoon. They had a set lunch at 12.50 with starters, mains and deserts. I obviously plumped for churros.
We both picked the cerviche verda. Good, but nothing compared to original at Cerviche. (post coming soon)
The tacos were yum.
The berry waffle was good.
But the churros were awesome. Is it just me or does anyone remember buying Churros at a little stand at Bugis Junction when we were younger?
