UK magazine Freebies

After that terribly angsty post, it is time to resume normal service with fluff pieces.

I have been marooned on the little island due to the tiny issue of lacking my passport while the UKBA takes it own sweet time to process my visa application. Due to the fact that I have absolutely nothing to do aside from meeting my lovely friends and sleep, I have to think of ways to fill up my days. Usually, while in UK, I would buy cheap magazines and read them. The awesome thing about UK magazines is that they are full of outrageous pieces and are actually readable compared to the local magazines which are just full of thinly disguised advertorial features. Best of all, they come with free shit that you can actually use. These are just bits and bobs that I remembered to take pictures of. Glamour gave away a free mascara when the magazine only costs 2 pounds. Conde Nast gave away a free hand cream that I had been lusting over for ages. Piece of advice when you are in UK: buy the magazines and get the free stuff. You will never need to buy hand cream, lip balms and shower gels again. My entire supply of lip balms and hand creams have been provided by these magazines.
