RETURN OF THE JEDI

As promised, I am posting the huge backlog of photos as the replacement USB cable has arrived.

My lovely mommy celebrated her birthday before I left. She looks as young as ever without the help of any surgery!  Wearing the lovely James Perse T-shirt that I bought her. For anyone that wants to buy a T-shirt that has a non-obscene V neck and works whether you are especially gifted in the booby department or sorely lacking as many of us are, James Perse is the brand to check out. Only buy it online as they charge an arm and a leg when you buy it in our lovely little island or in the UK. I have been buying this brand after reading that Jennifer Aniston wears it on UsWeekly. I obviously am not influenced by sublimal marketing in trashy dollar mags.

My aunt came along for the birthday outing as well! They are twins for those out there that are confused.

Lunch was Korean food. We ordered a chicken ginseng soup and a Bibimbap. The entire meal only cost less than 40 bucks with drinks. Good place to check out if you are at Far East Plaza. It is called Su Korean. Nothing to rave about, but it is cheap and tastes quite nice.

Another thing that I had to celebrate was my BFF, Miss Pearlly getting married. We all went down to celebrate her hen night at Balzac.

Given the way I was tortured for my hen night, I suspect that making her wear a leopard print sash and a tiara was getting off rather lightly.

As the rule for all hen nights, alcohol is a definite must.

As we were explicitly told it would be a classy affair, male strippers were not allowed and we settled for other meats instead.

I am obviously a terribly food blogger as I am most likely the one who ate the mashed potato before taking pictures of the beef. And my descriptions of food is limited to nice and ok.

The duck confit was suitably crispy and was probably the tastiest dish. The dish behind was some salad with sausages and looked rather unappetizing visually, but tasted surprisingly good. Good idea to do so at home. Fry a couple of sausages and place it over spinach leaves.

Scallops with the same mash. The food was good, but must everything come with mashed potatos?

My other BFF's desert which she ate all by herself. She will not be named or identified through any photographic evidence.

A obligatory picture of me and Pearlly in which I appear to be a giant. (as usual)
